Easy Teriyaki Chicken (Becky Acre Homestead)

 

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds of chicken thighs 

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce 

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

  • 1/4 cup olive oil 

  • 1 teaspoon crushed ginger

  • 4 garlic cloves, minced 

  • 2 teaspoons sesame seed oil

  • 2 teaspoons Korean Red Pepper Flakes (Gochugaru) (optional, but OH SO GOOD)

Directions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 400

  2. Place chicken and all marinade ingredients into a zip lock bag

  3. Marinate for 3-4 hours

  4. Place chicken and sauce into a 9 by 13-inch Pyrex dish

  5. Bake until chicken thighs are easily shreddable with two forks—about 30-40 mins
