Hot Mushroom Dip // Greg's Kitchen
Ingredients:
4 slices bacon 8 ounces fresh mushrooms, chopped 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped 1 clove garlic, minced 2 tablespoons flour 1/4 teaspoon salt 2-3 dashes Tabasco Sauce 1 – 8ounce package cream cheese, cut into cubes 2 teaspoons Worcestershire Sauce 1 teaspoon soy sauce 1/2 cup sour cream. Cook bacon until crisp. Drain well, reserving 2 tablespoons of bacon fat. cool bacon and crumble into small pieces. On medium heat, cook until tender the mushrooms, onions and garlic in the bacon fat. Stir in flour and salt. Add cream cheese, Tabasco sauce, Worcestershire and soy sauce. Heat and stir until cheese is melted. Stir in sour cream and crumbled bacon. Heat thoroughly (do not boil). Serve warm on crackers.
