Creamy Spinach Alfredo Fettucini with Kielbasa

 Ingredients:

1 turkey kielbasa link , cut into quarters

(2) 1.6 oz Knorr brand Alfredo Sauce Mix

1 C low or no fat milk

12 oz frozen chopped spinach

16 oz ( cooked to just past al dente ) pasta of your choice

Directions:

In a 6 quart pot with approx 1/8 tspn cooking oil, brown the quartered kielbasa then remove from pan.

Next, bring 4 cups water and 1/2 tspn salt to a boil then add your desired type of pasta AND the spinach to the pot.

Cook pasta (with the spinch) according to directions then drain but do not rinse. Wash the starch from the pasta out of the pot.

After pot is cleaned, add 1 cup cold milk and 2 packets of the Alfredo sauce mix. Heat over medium high while wisking until sauce powder is all incorporated in the milk. Allow to come to a slight boil and then turn down to a simmer until it has reached the desired thickness. 

Remove from heat and add the pasta and spinach and browned sausage. Add any additional salt, pepper and other seasonings then serve.
