Sesame Chicken – Slow Cooker
INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 lbs chicken breast
1 cup asian sesame with ginger and soy dressing and marinade (I use the Ken’s Steakhouses Brand)
1/3 cup apricot preserves
1oz packet Lipton onion soup mix
DIRECTIONS
- Spray slow cooker with non-stick spray.
- To a medium sized bowl add the sesame dressing, apricot preserves, and onion soup mix. Whisk these ingredients to combine.
- Cut each chicken breast into 3 large chunks (This is optional but I like doing it)
- Place chicken into slow cooker pour the sauce over the top.
- Cook on low for 4-6 hours or until chicken is cooked.
- We like to eat over a bed of white rice with sesame seeds sprinkled over the top and green onions. Enjoy!
Barbecue Ranch Pork Chops – Slow Cooker
NGREDIENTS
2 lbs boneless skinless pork chops
1 3/4 cups chicken broth
2 cups barbecue sauce
3 tbs dry ranch seasoning mix
DIRECTIONS
- Spray slow cooker with non-stick spray.
- Place pork chops in the slow cooker pour the broth over the top of them. Cover with lid. Cook on low for 4 hours.
- Drain juices from slow cooker.
- Mix together in a bowl the ranch seasoning and barbecue sauce.
- Pour the barbecue sauce mixture over the pork chops. Cook on low for 20 minutes. Enjoy!
Pot Roast Slow Cooker
INGREDIENTS
3 lb chuck roast
1 onion, thickly sliced
2 cups beef broth (or water)
1 packet brown gravy mix
1 packet ranch dressing mix
1 packet Italian dressing mix
4 cups baby carrots, cut in half
4 medium russet potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks
DIRECTIONS
- Place half of the sliced onion on the bottom of the slow cooker, place the roast on top then add the rest of the onions on the roast. Add in the gravy mix, ranch mix, Italian mix, beef broth, and vegetables cover with the lid and cook on LOW for 7 hours or HIGH for 5 hours.
Green Chili Ranch Chicken with Potatoes & Carrots – Slow Cooker
INGREDIENTS
10oz can cream of chicken soup
10oz can cream of mushroom soup
4oz can green chilis
1/2 cup chicken broth
3 tbs dry ranch dressing seasoning mix
3 large chicken breasts
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1.5 lbs baby potatoes, rinsed
1 lb baby carrots
DIRECTIONS
- Creamy Sauce: To a medium sized bowl add the cream of soups, green chilis, broth, and 2.5 tbs of the ranch seasoning mix. Whisk well to combine these ingredients.
- Season the chicken on both sides with the remaining ranch seasoning mix, salt, and pepper.
- To the bottom of a large slow cooker add the potatoes, and baby carrots. Place the chicken over the top of the vegetables, pour the creamy sauce over the top.
- Cover with lid. Cook on low for 5-6 hours or until the chicken is cooked. Enjoy!
Italian Chicken with Pasta – Slow Cooker
INGREDIENTS
25oz marinara sauce
1 white onion, diced
8oz cream cheese, cubed
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/3 cup water
1 lb chicken tenderloins (or chicken breasts)
12oz rotini pasta (or any pasta)
DIRECTIONS
- Spray slow cooker with non-stick spray.
- To the bottom of the slow cooker add the marinara sauce, onion, cream cheese, seasonings, and water stir well. Place the chicken into the slow cooker cover with the sauce.
- Cook on low for 5 hours or until the chicken is cooked.
- Shred the cooked chicken in the slow cooker.
- To a pot of boiling water add in the pasta and cook according to the box instructions, drain and place the pasta into the slow cooker. Stir to coat the pasta in the sauce. We like to top ours with parmesan cheese. Enjoy!
Crack Chicken
INGREDIENTS
1 lb chicken breast
1/4 cup chicken broth
8 oz cream cheese
2 tbs ranch seasoning
1/2 cup colby jack cheese
6 pieces cooked and crumbled bacon
Optional (See step 4): Egg noodles, rice or hamburger bun.
DIRECTIONS
- In the slow cooker, add in chicken, broth, cream cheese and ranch seasoning.
- Cook on low for 6 hours or until chicken completely cooked.
- Mix in the colby jack cheese and top with crumbled bacon.
- Serve over egg noodles, rice or hamburger bun.
